Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Inspection

Most cyclone failures don't happen suddenly — they're missed early. A tiered inspection schedule catches problems at the cheapest possible stage, before they become downtime.

1.1 Why a tiered schedule works

Not every check needs a shutdown, and not every problem waits a month to show up. Splitting inspection into daily, weekly, and monthly tiers matches the effort to how fast each type of problem develops — quick visual checks catch sudden issues immediately, while deeper measurements catch slow wear before it becomes critical.

Rule of thumb: the faster a fault can develop, the more often it needs eyes on it. Discharge shape can change in minutes; liner thickness changes over weeks.

Daily

1.3 Who does what

Responsibility should follow the tier — operators are best placed for daily checks since they're already at the panel, while deeper monthly measurements need a technician with the right gauges and, usually, a planned shutdown.
